Paediatric Clinic

Once a month, Palmerston North Hospital holds a Paediatric Clinic here at Te Aroha Noa. A specialist nurse sees children with a variety of conditions, such as Autism or ADHD. Please note, we do not manage clinic appointments — the first step is for a referral to be sent to the hospital. Referrals can be arranged through your child’s GP, childcare centre, or school.

Eczema & Asthma Clinic

Alongside the Paediatric Clinic, a specialist nurse also runs an Eczema & Asthma Clinic to support children experiencing severe eczema or who need help managing their asthma. To attend, you will need a referral from your GP sent to the hospital.

Plunket B4 School Checks

Plunket nurses visit us throughout the year to carry out B4 School Checks for our 4-year-old tamariki. These checks include hearing and vision testing to help ensure children are ready for their school journey.
